Cine films and video tapes are transferred to DVD, or VHS tape without damage to the originals which are returned intact. We can also create video 'slide shows' from photographic slides, prints or digital images *.

 

 

  

 

  
 

Transferred cine footage is colour, density and running speed corrected and any unviewable sections are edited out. We are happy to include the repair of the odd film splice here and there. Extensive resplicing, or editing is available at additional cost.

Prices for transfers start at £6 + VAT per reel (min £20 + VAT per job) , and there are discounts for multiple rolls of cine film or multiple video tapes.

          
        Where multiple reels of film are transferred, we can either include Chaper Points in the finished DVD for navigation, or make an interactive menu as required. The maximum length of each DVD disc is around 2 hours.

Cine film formats transferred to DVD are Standard 8mm, Single 8mm and Super 8mm, 9.5mm and 16mm. We can also copy VHS tape, or VHSC, SVHS or SVHSC. Cine film transfer includes sound where present, or we can add either a projector sound or background music as required. * Please note that copyrighted material will not be transferred without the express written permission of the copyright holder.
